Peter is described as a sweet child who has an infectious grin. Peter enjoyed having his picture taken for the Heart Gallery and is very excited about the prospect of being adopted. Peter loves animals and would like to care and work with them when he is older. Peter would like to be adopted by a family that would allow him to have a pet. Peter has a younger brother and sister who have both been adopted and Peter would like to be able to maintain contact with his siblings.

Peter is eager to learn and asks many questions about things that interest him. He does learn at a slower pace, but loves to learn anyway. Peter has some developmental delays and it is not clear whether he will ever be fully independent. Peter attends a school that specializes in working with children who need more assistance with academics.
